Nau (9) Or Nine Devi Darshan means having darshan of 9 incarnations of Goddess Durga located in different places in North India. Out of nine major Goddess Shakti or Durga, , seven are in Himachal Pradesh, and one each in J&K and Chandigarh.
The temples visited during the yatra are Mansa Devi temple in Chandigarh, Shri Naina Devi, Chintpurni Devi, Maa Jwala Devi, Maa Bagalamukhi, Mata Brajeshwari Devi (Kangra Devi), Shri Chamunda Devi Temple, Kunal Pathri Mata Mandir and Mata Vaishno Devi.

On arrival at Chandigarh Airport/ Railway Station, you will be transferred to your hotel. After check in to the hotel, fresh up then go to famous Shaktipeeth of Mata Mansa Devi Ji. This temple is the holy abode of Manasa Goddess. Devotees’ horde this place to the tie a threat around the tree as it is believed that wishes of people come true by doing it.
After darshan of Mansa Devi Ji Temple, you can visit Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake (If time permit). You can also shop at Market 22. Overnight Stay at Chandigarh hotel.
Today after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Shri Nainadevi Ji Temple. One of the 51 Shaktipeethas, Naina Devi Temple is a popular pilgrimage site in Himachal Pradesh. This temple is situated on a hilltop at a height of 1219 m above sea level in Bilaspur District. You can reach the peak of hill by following the concrete stairs or using cable car facility. This cable car facility is highly famous among the pilgrims.
Afterwards, drive to Chintpurni. This drive takes 3 hours from Naina Devi Ji Temple.
Shri Maa Chintpurni Devi is one of the many manifestations of the Supreme Goddess Durga. In this form She is also called Maa Chinnamasta or Maa Chinnamastika - the one with detached head.
According to one of the sacred books of Sanatam Dharm, Shri Markandeye Puran, after killing of all the Asuras and upon victory in the big war, Maa Bhagwati's 2 'sahyoginis', Jaya and Vijaya who had killed the various Asuras and drank their blood, were still thirst for more blood. So, Maa cut her own head and quenched the thirst of her sahyoginis with her own blood. Since then, Maa Bhagwati's this roop was called as Maa Chinnamastika or Mata Chinnamasta (Chinna is without and Masta is Head).
After darshan you will be drive for about one hour from Maa Chintpurni Devi Ji to Mata Jwala Devi Ji.
Shri Jwalamukhi Mandir is situated in the Jwalamukhi sub-division at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level, located in the valley of Kalidhar, located in the Shivalik mountain range of district Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. The distance of this holy place from district headquarter Dharamshala is 50 Kms. On arrival, check in to your hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Today early morning, attend Aarti of Mala Jwala Devi Ji. It is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas of the country and dedicated to Goddess Jawalamukhi, who is considered the deity of the 'flaming mouth'. Legend has it that this is the place where Goddess Sati's tongue fell on the Earth when Lord Vishnu cut apart her body with his Sudharshan Chakra. She is revered as Maa Durga who is manifested here as the flames that leap through the fissured rocks. A total of nine flames are ignited in the temple, which represent the nine Goddesses – Mahakali, Annapurna, Chandi, Hinglaj, Vidhya Basni, Mahalakshmi, Saraswati, Ambika and Anji Devi.
After darshan we will be drive about 40min. to reach Mata Bagalamukhi Devi Ji temple.
Maa Baglamukhi is a revered Hindu goddess, considered to be the eighth Mahavidya (Great Wisdom) in the Dasha Mahavidya tradition. She is known as the deity of power, protection, and victory over obstacles. “Bagla” means “Bridel” or “Rein” while “Mukhi” means “Faced” or “Facing”. The name Baglamukhi symbolizes her power to restrain or control negative forces and enemies.
Goddess Baglamukhi is the maker, controller, and destroyer of the entire universe. She is Aadi Shakti. It is seen that the colour of Goddess Baglamukhi clothes is yellow. Goddess Baglamukhi is also known as Pitambara and the devotees, who worship Maa Bagla, are advised to wear yellow colour clothes while offering prayers to Goddess Baglamukhi.
Later proceed to Brajeshwari Devi Ji (Kangra Devi) situated at a distance of about at 1 Hrs. to reach from Mata Bagalamukhi Devi Ji temple.
Shree Bajreshwari Mata Mandir is one of the 51 Shakti Pithas dedicated to the goddess Vajreshvari, a form of Goddess Durga located in the town Kangra in the Northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Mata Vrajeshwari Devi Temple is also known as Nagar Kot Ki Devi and Kangra Devi and hence this temple is also called Nagar Kot Dham. Brijeshwari Temple is popular for its elaborated fabrications along with the rich rituals performed there.
Later on, continue the journey and drive about at 40 min. to reach Shri Chamunda Devi temple.
Shri Chamunda Devi Mandir also known as Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham is a temple dedicated to Shri Chamunda Devi, a form of Goddess Durga, located at 19 km away from Palampur town in Dharamshala Tehsil of Kangra district of the Northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. On reaching, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel near on Dharamshala-Palampur way.
In the morning visit Mata Chamunda Devi temple, dedicated to the wrateful form of Goddess Durga or Chamunda, who in Hindu mythology is the symbol of female power. The idol of Goddess Chamunda, in the temple is considered so scared that it is completely hidden beneath a red cloth and is kept so always. Seek the blessings of Maa Chamunda & drive to Dharamshala.
On reaching Dharamshala, visit Kunal Pathri Mata Mandir. This temple is where the forehead of Mata Sati fell, hence it is also called Kapaaleshwari temple. There is a small rock (saucer or forehead shaped), on which there is always water, since time immemorial. It never dries, though it is used by the priest for goddess. When it is about to dry, there is a rainfall and rock fills up with water, through a small opening in roof.
Later we will be drive towards Mcleodganj and visit to Dalai Lama Monastery, Bhagsu Nag Temple and Dal Lake. Overnight stay in the hotel in Dharamshala/ Mcleodganj.
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the holy town of Katra. On arrival at Katra, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at Katra hotel.
Early morning, your pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi begins with a trek. One of the holiest shrines in India, Vaishno Devi Temple is the abode of Maa Vaishno Devi, who is also known as Mata Rani.
Later return back to your hotel (on your own). Overnight stay at Katra hotel.
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Amritsar. On arrival at Amritsar, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at Amritsar hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and enjoy visit of Amritsar local sightseeing. Visit Golden Temple-also called as Harmandir Sahib, Jallianwala Bagh and Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum situated in the heart of Ram Bagh, Amritsar.
In the evening, transfer to Amritsar Railway Station/ Airport for your outward journey.
